Keeping Your Pumpkin Fresh Halloween Idea
With Halloween coming up, keep this in mind so you can remember to do this!
After you scoop out and carve your pumpkin, dip it in a large container of bleach and water (use a 1 tsp:1 gal mix). The bleach will kill bacteria and help your pumpkin stay fresh longer. Once completely dry, (drain upside down), add 2 tablespoon of vinegar and 1 teaspoon of lemon juice to a quart of water. Brush this solution onto your pumpkin to keep it looking fresh for weeks.
Enjoy

Fun Halloween Lunch Ideas for Kids
Fun Halloween Lunch Ideas for Kids
Halloween is almost here! I hope that you enjoy these terrifying and FUN Halloween lunchbox ideas. There is still time to grab some creepy cool food picks to make some super cool lunches before the 31st!
Most of these fun Halloween Lunch Ideas were all assembled in about 10 minutes. The crescent mummy hotdogs take about 15 minutes to put together and cook. So while you wait for those cute creatures to brown up in the oven, put together the rest of the lunch
Mummy hotdog with candy eyes, granola bar, tomatoes and cheese and fresh kiwi and blueberries
Crescent roll skulls, cheese-turkey-olive bites, diced pears, yogurt topped with bone food sprinkles and some M&Ms for dessert. You can make any fun shapes from crescent roll dough. Simply cut out the shape you want with a cookie cutter, and bake at 375 until golden and crispy
Turkey-cheese-celery-tomato kabobs, ghost banana, a pear, M&Ms and tortilla strips. To write on the pear, I wrote the word “boo” with a toothpick and then highlighted the word with food coloring.
The Ghost Banana is made with 1/2 a banana and mini chocolate chips
For this spooky lunch, there is a turkey and cheese pumpkin sandwich, dried strawberries, carrots, cassava chips, a Halloween cookie and some fresh grapes.

Halloween is almost here…
Looking for a fun snack for the kiddos after school the week leading up to Halloween? Maybe you are hosting a Halloween party? We have some fun ideas for you.
We decided to make orange cookies at our house. I let the kids stir the cookie mix (yes I used a box, lol), and I even let them scoop the batter onto the cookie sheet. We popped them in the oven and they eagerly awaited the timer to tell them that their cookies were ready to come out. When it did beep they both squealed with excitement. After they cooled down we had fun decorating them.

After making our handprint spiders, I’ve been on a handprint craft kick. I’ve said it before, but I’m a big sucker for handprint & footprint crafts! It’s such a fun way to preserve those adorable little fingers and toes. Plus, the kiddos seem to love making them. So, I’ve rounded up 10 of my favorite Halloween handprint (& footprint) ideas that have appeared here on Mom Endeavors and from around the web! Go check them all out to get all the details (and give them some pinterest love)! :)
